Breaking Through Barriers
These barriers fall into two catergories: Internal and External. The internal barriers are those that are self imposed, limiting beliefs that we put on ourselves, they include the negative chatter that goes on inside our head and the lies we have been told about ourselves and have chosen to beleive.
For me it was the belief of settling that I should be content with my life and my career. My mindset has always been you choose to be happy which is not a bad thing but my happiness was limited. I settled for less because part of me didn't believe I deserved to make more than I was currently making, the belief that I had to work hard to earn more.
Take time to identify the internal factors that are stopping you from acheiving success. Write them down.
The second barrier is External these are obstacles you have no control over, and prevent us from going where we are trying to go. This could be your job, the weather or even family.
Take time to identify the external factors that are stopping you from acheiving success. Write them down.
Now that you have identified these forces, take time to make solutions and next write out your 30 day goals and write down why it is important for you to achieve this goal.
Please come back and share your insights and your goals. I would love to hold you accountable for your goals the next 30 days. Please feel free to email me at coachlakeisha@gmail.com if you would like to participate

Schedule Some Me Time
Make an appointment with yourself today for some me time. It doesnt require a lot of time, money, or planning. All it requires is a commitment to yourself and realizing that you are worth it and deserve it.
Take 20 minutes today to rejuvenate your mind, body, style, and spirit.
Below are some tips to renew and refresh when youre feeling overwhelmed and underappreciated.
Listen to Music
Music can instantly change your mood. It is a good pick me up when you are feeling a little down. Try listening to music as you are preparing dinner or just lying down or relaxing. Load up that MP3 player with your favorite soothing or energizing music.
Soak A Way The Stress
Taking a nice shower is so therapeutic to the soul. Add a few scented candles (Brazilian Jackfruit is my favorite) and lather the body with an exfoliating shower gel and how about adding some rose petals to the water as well.
Manicure and Pedicure
Pay some extra attention to your hands and feet today. You dont have to run to the salon to spend extra money you dont have. This is something you can do at home. Check out the Happy Foot Collection and hand treatment and treat yourself to a lavender foot spa and tangerine lychee manicure. Have dad take the kids to the park or movies and schedule a lifestyle gathering (spa party) at home with your girlfriends.
Light a Candle
Aromatherapy feels good to the soul. Scented candles are an inexpensive way to relieve some stress. Soothing aromas can help reduce that overwhelming feeling and create a relaxing atmosphere.
Exercise
You dont have to get all sweaty or have some vigorous routine, a 30-minute walk in the morning can help boost your energy and sharpen you mentally, and decrease stress. Enjoy what Mother Nature has to offer as you soothe your soul.
Taking a few extra minutes each week to indulge yourself doesnt just feel good; it's good for you. Reducing stress keeps you healthy and happy. It improves your mood and much more. The key is to schedule a little me time just as you would a regular appointment, so it becomes part of your everyday lifestyle instead of a guilty pleasure.

What Is It That You Want?
What Is That You Want?
"Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart."(Psalm 37:4)
Many times we are so focused on the needs and wants of those around us that we fail to give attention to the desires of your heart. We live our lives for our family and friends etc. I wanted to take a minute to today to ask you what do you want? Or better yet I want you to ask yourself what is it that you want?
Be Authentic and Honest in your answer and take a minute or take the entire day if you must and get clear on what you want for your life!
If you could wave a magic wand what would your ideal life look like?
And then also have you asked God. Remember he has our best interest at heart and he is always with us. Delight yourself in the lord and he shall direct your path. Spend time dwelling on his wisdom, understanding, his love, his promises and remember nothing is too hard for our God.
Feel free to share but I want to encourage you to get a journal and write down the first thing that comes to mind. Journal your experience and every emotion behind it.
Take time out today to make your needs a PRIORITY!
Stay Encouraged!

Is Your Life Invaluable??
Did you get a promotion and then a year later you are still sitting right there in the same position? If you go on vacation tomorrow will you be missed from your job? What is meant by missed, is will the office be in such disarray that they need you there? If not could you replaced or laid of tomorrow? Did you get your degree and the position you hoped for and you havent opened a book since you left high school or college.
They say TV Guide is the most read magazine of the year and that 50% of people when they graduate school dont read. What is wrong with that picture? It is important that each day we continue to learn to make ourselves better. Learning should not be a period of your life. Life should be a learning experience. Each year you should set personal goals and set out to accomplish them. I challenge you to make a personal development plan.
Write out a personal development plan and use your thought process to make a plan on how you will get to your destination. If your not sure where to start a mentor or coach might be a great solution. Your probably thinking you dont need a coach or mentor. I beg to differ, I think you should find good mentors who have been where you were and are where you are trying to go, Tiger Woods has a coach even as great as he is in his career, he has a personal trainer and coach that help him reach and realize his full potential.
Go to seminars once or twice of years with others in your field, you want to be around other people in your field that you can share ideas with. Find someone in your field and study them, the more you know about them the better chance you have to duplicate the system.
You have to realize if you havent already that your time is invaluable and should not be wasted by hanging with people who are hindering your growth or wasting their time not growing anywhere. If they are constantly complaining about their past and current life situation let me tell you again that destination disease is contagious.
Also, dont associate with what I call haters those who tell you dreams are impossible, call you a book worm, nerd, etc. the same people when you reach your goals will be calling you boss, CEO of your own business or they have their hands out. Associate with people who empower or inspire you. Your time is invaluable you need a good foundation to build your life on. Just make the most of what time you have.
God will bring the right people in your life at the right time, and Hell also allow the right people to leave at the right time to bring you to your God given destiny.
Whats your plan for potential growth? It can be very simple such as:
Mediate the first 20 minutes of the day
Listen to a teaching CD on your next 20-minute car drive
Meet up with my mentor twice a month
Turn off the TV 20 minutes earlier tonight to read a book
In the coming days you will have opportunities presented in your life but you have to be prepared. Make a decision to learn something everyday and the right people will come into your life and god will take you places you never dreamed of.
Continue to Grow

It's Time To Get MAD!!!
“I found every single successful person I've ever spoken to had a turning point. The turning point was when they made a clear, specific unequivocal decision that they were going to achieve success. Some people make that decision at 15 and some people make it at 50, and most people never make it at all." - Brian Tracey
It’s time to get M.A.D. I don’t literally mean MAD in the sense of angry, but Make A Decision to be successful. Don’t get caught up in the hype of I have a business now, I have to get some customers, start advertising, and the money will start pouring in. That kind of thinking can discourage you or even bankrupt you.
So let’s get clear and started on the right track today! So regardless if your just now getting started, thinking of starting a business, or you have been in business for quite some time, your business could still need some assistance.
The first step to being Successful is making a decision to be Successful.
Here are two powerful steps to put into action right now.
1. Make A Decision! It’s time to make a decision to achieve your goals. A lot of people make the mistake of starting a business and not attaching any goals or a real commitment to succeed.
For example. I will have a successful business, I will be a millionaire, Whatever it takes I am doing this.
2. Have A Strong Why. Take time to reflect on why you want to start a business and it should be more than just money, something that resonates with you and will bring you down to your knees. Start reflecting on your life and what it would look like if money was no issue, there was nothing in your way to stop you from living the life of your dreams. What would your life be like. Write it Down! Because you are going to need to keep your why in front of you when the tough gets going and obstacles
3. Subscribe to My Blog: Stay Empowered and Receive Inspirational Updates www.ExudingRadiance.blogspot.com
come your way. Your Why should be strong enough, so when your presented with obstacles you don’t give up.
So this week focus on making a decision and getting committed to your success, writing the vision and making it plain!

Maintaining A Winning Mindset
It is all about being in the right mindset. How do you maintain a winning mindset?
Please watch my video: Comments are Greatly Appreciated!!
I love the book As a Man Thinketh and one of my favorite scriptures: Proverbs 23:7
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
Winners don’t make excuses nor sit around feeling sorry for themselves. Change Your Thoughts and you can change the world and start speaking positive thoughts into your life.
With that said
Winners engage in daily activites that the losers don’t .
Here are some things I do to maintain a winning mindset.
1. Daily Affirmations - You can change your life by speaking the right things. Using positive daily affirmations is a powerful key to being successful.
2. Write Down Your Goals - Write down your goals monthly. We all have goals but get them written down on paper and let's started working towards them.
3. Surrond yourself around positive people -Positive people can help you succeed in life. When you have a goal, surround yourslef with people who have a positive attitude.
4. Make the vision plain - Once you have a clear vision of what it is you want, WRITE your vision out-create your VISION statement. Be bold and to the point of EXACTLY what you want!
5. Celebrate. Celebrate every Success or Accomplishment no matter how big or small, know that it is worth celebrating!
Please feel free to comment and share how you maintain a Winning Mindset!
